INITIAL PROJECT MEETING
At our initial meeting, we want to learn about your objectives, preferences, and requirements for the project. We would love to see any inspirational pictures you have. We will take measurements and discuss different design possibilities and options. And finally, we will establish a target budget; the amount you are comfortable investing in your home.
ROUGH CONCEPT & DESIGN
Our designer will help you define your style and navigate the multitude of product choices and options available for your remodel project. Depending on the extent of the remodel, we may request the customer enter into a Design Services Agreement. This fee will be approximately 10% of the proposed current estimate for the project. This fee is deducted from the final project cost, should the customer proceed forward with the project. If necessary, we may revise the target estimate to ensure the project scope is sufficiently accurate to our client’s unique space and choices.
BUDGET & DESIGN MEETING
When you have approved the final design concept, we will present you with the final estimate and construction schedule. Signing the Design Build Agreement will permit us to move forward with planning the project. A deposit will be collected to cover the cost of purchasing the products and materials needed.
PRE-CONSTRUCTION & PROCUREMENT
This is when we will confirm our measurements, and review the final specifications. We order the products and construction materials so they will arrive before or at the time of installation so as not to delay the project timelines. We will go through some details to help you prepare for the construction.
CONSTRUCTION
During the construction phase, we will keep you informed as work is performed, update you on any schedule changes, and meet with you to discuss your questions or concerns you have. We will also update you on any changes that may affect the project scope and any possible effect on the cost and/or schedule.
POST-CONSTRUCTION
We will walk through the completed construction project with you and address any changes or touch-ups you may want. When those are remedied, the final payment is made at this time and our warranties go into effect.
