Pasqual-Rup Construction has embraced a design-build philosophy that ensures you receive everything you need from a single company, or we will work with you on a design-bid-build project if you prefer. We are happy to work with you either way. We like to have face-to-face meetings throughout our construction projects. They can be conducted in person or on zoom calls depending on everyone’s schedule and convenience. Be assured support is only a phone call away!

INITIAL PROJECT MEETING

At our initial meeting, we will discuss where you are at during the building process. Whether you want our help in obtaining permits, and/or hiring engineers and architects. We will also get a copy of the plans if you have them.

Another discussion point is whether you want us to work with you in a Design-Bid-Build process or a Design-Build process. We are happy to do either one! With our Design-Build services, we make everything easy and we complete every aspect of the construction for you; all there would be left for you to do is move in.

DETAILED ESTIMATE
Within 2 weeks of receiving the plans, we will provide you with a detailed estimate.

SIGNING ADU CONSTRUCTION AGREEMENT
If our estimate is accepted, we will meet again to explain the payment plan and at what stage the payment is due. We will also explain the construction process and go over a rough timeline for the project. Please note that any changes requested may result in adjustments to the price for that change.

ROUGH CONCEPT & DESIGN
Our design experts will first consult with you on your preferred style and functionality choices before proposing several options you can choose from.
The designer will help you navigate the multitude of product choices and options available for cabinetry, lighting, countertops, flooring, wall coverings, fixtures, and more. In addition, they will help you balance your choices with your budget.

PRE-CONSTRUCTION & PROCUREMENT
This is when we will confirm our measurements, and review the final specifications. We order the products and construction materials so they will arrive before or at the time of installation so as not to delay the project timelines. We will go through some details to help you prepare for the construction.

CONSTRUCTION
During the construction phase, we will meet weekly in person or on zoom calls to keep you informed as work is performed, update you on any schedule changes, and discuss any questions or concerns you have. We will also update you on any changes that may affect the project scope and any possible effect on the cost and/or schedule as they happen.

POST-CONSTRUCTION
We will walk through the completed construction project with you and address any changes or touch-ups you may want. When those are remedied, the final payment is made at this time and our warranties go into effect.
